MISSION:
To raise
funds and add value through service to the local and wider
community and in so doing have fun and good fellowship.
WHAT
IT MEANS TO BE PART OF THE LIONS:
Being
a Lion is more than just fundraising. In giving of your time
to aide your community, to help others, whether they are less
fortunate than yourself or just putting that smile on someone’s
face is what it’s all about
HOW MUCH DO WE LOOK AT RAISING:
Financially
we raised over $30,000 for our community during the past year.
We believe we have used the monies raised wisely by ploughing
the Lions share back into our local area. Groups like the
Georges River community Service, Hurstville SES, Illawong
Bushfire Brigade, local schools and Scout Groups have all
benefited from the success of Lugarno Lions.
